The Mustache Gallery at Chicago Round Table!!

We are very excited to have them. They will be transforming one of the rooms in the warehouse into an art gallery for one day only!

Here's what wikipedia had to say...

"The Mustache Gallery is an underground art gallery on the West Side of Chicago in the Pilsen/ South Loop area. The gallery runs theme shows out of a loft apartment at 718 W 18th Street. The Mustache Gallery is known for its experimental street art; some of the artists are also notorious taggers (graffiti artists), notably the Viking. The Gallery is owned and operated by Peter Skvara and Don O'Brien among others. These two over talented young entrepreneurs have made it their mission to eliminate the sterile and generally unenthused art gallery atmosphere by showing the spectacle through art and giving the patrons a personal alliance with the artists and their work."

Just a Round the Corner...

We've been working Super Overtime on preparing for our next big event, the Chicago Round Table. If you've been to any of our previous events, you know that we love bringing many different elements to a single mixing pot. This event we are focusing with that mentality on people/artists/groups that are making actions in Chicago.

If you'd like to see a street view of the venue its the big brick warehouse at 1100 W. Cermak.

GOOGLE Maps is the craziest thing ever, have you seen their new STREET VIEW mode. Is this good?

Hmm....

police warning

I saw this last month on self-proclaimed "Chicagrapher" Brian Ulrich's blog. I had to post this. I think its pretty self- explanatory. Brian Said "How in the world could anyone stand for this fear mongering propaganda? Full story here:"
